TXLC-Series8

Taylor Machine Works’line of loaded container handlers continue with the introduction of the TXLC Series Loaded Container Handlers. The TXLC Series loaded container handlers answer the call for more stable platform by anchoring the tilt cylinders to the counter-weight, further back than on previous models. Each model in the TXLC line features improved hydraulics and the addition of TICS, Taylor Intergrated Control System, which is capable of monitoring and diagnosing vital system components. With the lowest total operating cost in the industry, it’s no wonder so many businesses choose Taylor products.
The TXLC-975 has a rated capacity of 90,000-lbs. in the first and second tiers and 80,000-lbs. in the third, fourth, and fifth tiers at 97-inch center of load. At 106-inch center of load, the capacity for the TXLC-975 is 82,000-lbs. in the first and second tiers and 75,000-lbs. in the third, fourth, and fifth tiers.
The TXLC-976 has a rated capacity of 90,000-lbs. in the first and second tiers and 80,000-lbs. in the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth tiers at 97-inch center of load. At 106-inch center of load, the capacity for the TXLC-976 is 82,000-lbs. in the first and second tiers and 75,000-lbs. in the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth tiers.
We engineer and build what you need.
Taylor Machine Works was built on the premise, “We engineer and build what you need.” This is just as true today as it was in 1927. Taylor Machine Works can design, engineer, and manufacture equipment tailored specificially to meet the material handling needs of your business.
CANbus Technology
All machine controls are integrated using solid state controllers and J1939 CANbus technology. This allows controllers and sensors to communicate with minimal wiring between the components. I/O modules are used to eliminate electromechanical relay devices and add reliability to the machine control system. J1939 CANbus technology allows all machine data to be accessed through the main color display located in the cab. This display shows engine data along with warnings, spreader status lights, and man / machine interface data. The display allows service personnel to access data needed during troubleshooting (such as sensor status and controller outputs). Machine functions can be tuned through the main display in the cab. Tuning functions are password protected to prevent operator access.
Drive Train
Each model in the TXLC Series line of loaded container handlers uses a Tier Compliant Cummins® electronic turbocharged, charged air aftercooled diesel engine. Standard engine features include electronic diagnostic and maintenance monitor, fuel/water separator, engine/transmission protection systems, improved fuel economy, and reduced emissions.
The transmission for all models is a three-speed, fully reversing, modulated, powershift transmission equipped with declutch and electric shift control.
New Emission Standards
On May 11, 2004, the EPA signed the final rule introducing Tier 4 emission standards, which are to be phased-in over the period of 2008-2015 [69 FR 38957-39273, 29 Jun 2004]. The Tier 4 standards require that emissions of PM and NOx be further reduced by about 90%. To meet these new regulations, the TXLC Series of loaded container handlers now offers an optional Volvo® engine that complies the US EPA Tier 4i requirements. The Tier 4i Volvo® 12.8 Liter, Penta TAD1360VE delivers 348 HP with SCR, Selective Catalytic Reduction. This engine is an electronic, turbocharged, charged air aftercooled (air to air) diesel engine.
